Police Department

Valley City Police Department (VCPD) provides law enforcement services for the City of Valley City. VCPD provides the following services Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM:

  • Fingerprinting - $10 fee, requires photo ID
  • Issues Transient Merchant License
  • Issues Cat or Dog License
  • Issues Kennel License

ND Safety Council offers three 2-hour training modules: basic server, large event server course, owner/manager course.

Send a text to the Valley City Police Department by texting VCPOLICE to 847411 (tip411). Tip411 should not be used in place of 911 in an emergency.
